I read once where someone described themselves as a multidisciplinary creative, and I liked that. I think it means “Right-Brained-And-Curious-About-Much”. Plainspeak: Creative. Bad at Math.
Indeed.
I am fascinated by both design and by people. I’m interested in all the stories, and places, and every detail of what makes up a life. I help people create beautiful and comfortable spaces in which, I hope, the days spent – in that life – feel just right for them.
But mostly, I’m a mom. I’m raising four daughters, ages ranging from teenager to young twenty-something. It’s been the most painful-slash-magical gift that I couldn’t have even imagined. The hardship and the beauty of two sides of a most precious coin.
And so, with that, I have decided that my purpose is to guide those four daughters into adulthood, the best way I can. My passion is to create beautiful spaces in which to seek shelter from storms, and celebrate the long, and lighting fast journey that ultimately leads to letting them go. I have tried, failed, and learned, so much on this sacred odyssey. I would love to share what I have come to know with you.
