And I was desperate for the Cliff’s Notes version of “How does this whole college application thing work these days?” I felt like a dinosaur… when I applied to college I filled out an application with a No. 2 pencil, put it in an envelope, and ran it down to mailbox. A few months later, the verdict was returned, in that same manner, in that same mailbox. Needless to say, it works a little differently these days!
I’ve now sent three of my daughters off to to three different universities (one in-state, one private, and one out-of-state), and I know for sure that most parents feel this way when they begin this journey. And so, in an effort to share the knowledge and mistakes we have made along the way, I created Flight School downloadable and printable workbooks. Consider them a general guide for regular folks – as every child, every household, and every institution is different – and there is no one size fits all when it comes to college.
